A new or evolving diagnosis refers to situations where health information is still coming together. This may include recent diagnoses, ongoing testing, referrals to specialists, or changes in a care plan.
Beacon Care Navigation does not diagnose or interpret medical results. Our role is to help clients understand the process and prepare for next steps.
Do you provide medical advice or clinical services?
No. Beacon Care Navigation provides non-medical services only. We do not diagnose conditions, recommend treatments, administer medications, or provide clinical care. All medical decisions remain between clients and their healthcare providers.
Do you attend medical appointments?
Yes, when requested. Beacon may attend appointments as a non-medical support person and advocate, including note-taking and post-visit clarification. We do not speak on behalf of providers or make medical decisions.
Is this an emergency service?
No. Beacon Care Navigation does not provide emergency or on-call services. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please call 911 or seek immediate medical care.
